Heather Helgeson

Charlie Roberts currently serves as Director for Youth Ministry for the Lower Susquehanna Synod, Director of the YM Certification School at Gettysburg, Chairperson of the ELCA Synod Youth & Family Ministry Coordinators Network and Hotel/Community Life Team Leader for the ELCA Youth Gathering. He co-founded and publishes youth ministry resources with By The Way Ministries, Inc, and still serves as a volunteer youth director for St. John’s and Trinity Lutheran Churches in Steelton, PA.

Erin Smith is currently seeking her Masters of Divinity at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. She is working towards her call in the ordained ministry.

Jacob Smith is the editor of Youth Group Stuff. Jacob started working with youth as a camp counselor at Harrisburg Conference Confirmation Camp at age 17. Since then Jacob has been blessed to work on the ELCA National Youth Gathering in 2000, 2003 and 2006.

Jesse Woodrow was baptized at age — a little late in life for a lutheran” — but has been a person of maturing faith ever since. He is currently the Jr. and Sr. High Youth Director at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Harrisburg PA. He have been serving with youth for almost 3 years now through Harrisburg Area Confirmation Camp and multiple other church youth groups.

Jessy Woodrow – the Kid

Jessey was baptized at age 15—a little late in life for a lutheran— but has been a person of maturing faith ever since. He is currently the Jr. and Sr. High Youth Director at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Harrisburg PA. I have been serving with youth for almost 3 years now through Harrisburg Area Confirmation Camp and multiple other church youth groups.

Erin Boyer – the Theologian

Erin Boyer is currently seeking her Masters of Divinity at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. She is working towards her call in the ordained ministry.

Jacob Smith – the Visionary

Jacob Smith is the visionary force behind Youth Group Stuff. Jacob started working with youth as a camp counselor at Harrisburg Conference Confirmation Camp as a Junior in High School. Since then Jacob has been blessed to work on the ELCA National Youth Gathering in 2000, 2003 and 2006. Jacob is also currently the Senior High youth director at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, VA. He also has worked on Metro DC Snyod youth activities.
